SECURITY & AWARENESS

Protect Your Account. Protect Your Money.

The trading industry contains legitimate businesses, but it also attracts scams, misleading claims and aggressive marketing. Before sending money, sharing account access or trusting a trading service, take the time to verify exactly who you are dealing with.

01 — CLAIMS

Be Careful With Unrealistic Claims.

Extraordinary trading claims should always be examined carefully before you trust them.

100% Win Rate
Guaranteed Profits
No Losses
Risk-Free Trading
Guaranteed Returns
Extreme Short-Term Returns

No trading system can guarantee that every trade will be profitable. Be extremely cautious with claims that suggest trading is risk-free or that profits are guaranteed.

02 — VERIFICATION

Don’t Trust Screenshots.

A screenshot is only a snapshot of a particular moment and does not provide a complete trading history.

A Screenshot Is Not Proof.

Screenshots of profitable trades, account balances or impressive returns only show a selected moment in time. They do not provide a complete picture of how a trading system performs.

Always look for complete, independently verifiable trading results rather than selected screenshots or individual profitable trades.

03 — CURRENT DATA

Check the Last Update.

A performance figure is only useful if you know when it was last updated.

Is the Information Still Current?

Always check the last update date, recent trades, current balance and equity, drawdown and whether the account is still actively reporting its results.

A system may display an impressive return over a short period, but if the performance data has not been updated for weeks, you cannot know what happened after the last reported update.

Last Update When was the data last updated?
Recent Trades Are new trades still being reported?
Current Balance What is the current account balance?
Equity What is the current equity?
Drawdown How much has the account drawn down?
Trading History Can the complete history be verified?
If the data stops being updated, don’t assume the performance has remained the same. You simply don’t have the information needed to know.
04 — LIVE RESULTS

Look for Live Results.

If a trading EA, bot or signal service claims to have a successful trading history, look for independently verifiable results rather than relying only on screenshots.

Live Account

Results from an account trading with real market conditions and real capital.

Live-Updated Demo

A demo account can provide useful information when trades and performance are continuously and publicly updated.

Verifiable History

Look for an ongoing and complete trading history rather than isolated profitable trades.

A live account and a continuously updated demo account provide very different information from a static screenshot or an outdated performance page.

05 — BEFORE YOU PAY

Verify Before You Pay.

Take the time to understand who you are paying, what you are purchasing and what happens if the service does not match what was advertised.

Ask Yourself These Questions.

Who exactly am I paying?
Is the company or individual identifiable?
Can the claims be independently verified?
Are the risks clearly explained?
Are the terms and conditions available?
Is there a clear refund policy?
What happens if the service is not what was advertised?
What exactly am I purchasing?
Who controls the money?
Can I withdraw my funds independently?
Never send money simply because someone claims to have exceptional trading results.

Can You Get Your Money Back?

Before paying for any trading software, signal service or subscription, check whether the provider offers a refund if the service does not match what was advertised or described.

Check the refund period, refund conditions and the actual process for requesting a refund before making your payment.

If a provider does not clearly explain its refund policy before you pay, stop and investigate further.

06 — ACCOUNT SECURITY

Never Give Away Control of Your Account.

Your trading account contains your money and should remain under your control.

Your Trading Account Should Remain Under Your Control.

Never give another person your broker password, withdrawal access, 2FA codes or other credentials that allow them to control your account.

Be extremely cautious when someone asks you to hand over your account so they can “trade for you” or “manage your profits.”

Broker Password Never share it.
Withdrawal Access Never give control to another person.
2FA Codes Never share authentication codes.
Email Password Keep your email account protected.
Wallet Seed Phrase Never share it with anyone.
Private Keys Never disclose them.
Your money. Your account. Your control.
07 — AUTOMATION

Automation Does Not Remove Risk.

Trading automation can automate execution and repetitive tasks, but it does not eliminate market risk.

A trading bot cannot guarantee profits, eliminate losses or predict future market movements.

08 — OFFICIAL SOURCES

Verify Official Sources.

Make sure you are dealing with the real company, developer or service before taking any action.

Online trading communities and social media can contain impersonation accounts, misleading advertisements and unofficial offers.

When dealing with ForexBotWorks, use the official ForexBotWorks website and official communication channels to verify information before making a payment or sharing any account information.

09 — TRADING COMMUNITIES

Trading Communities.

Trading communities can be useful sources of information and discussion, but membership in a group does not automatically make every signal, claim or service legitimate.

Always perform your own verification before sending money, purchasing a service or giving anyone access to your trading account.

FOREXBOTWORKS

Think Before You Trust.

Verify the information. Check the dates. Look for live and transparent results. Understand what you are paying for.

Keep control of your money. Keep control of your account.
Your money. Your account. Your decision.
